1. Who we are

Upgrade is a digital product created and sold by Mockupshelf at mockupshelf.com. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you visit our website or purchase our product.

2. What information we collect

We collect the minimum possible. Here is everything we collect:

• Email address — collected at the time of purchase via Razorpay, used only to send your download link.
• Phone number — optionally collected by Razorpay during checkout for payment purposes.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI ID, or banking credentials.
• Purchase record — we log your payment ID, email, and amount paid in a secure server log for order fulfilment and support purposes.

We do not collect:

• Any data from inside the Upgrade app — your income, clients, habits, and business data never leave your browser
• Browsing behaviour or analytics data
• Cookies (we don't use any tracking cookies)
• Location data

3. How the Upgrade app handles your data

The Upgrade application stores all data in your browser's localStorage on your own device. This means:

• Your income records, client list, meeting notes, habits, and all other data stay on your device only
• No data is ever transmitted to any server
• We have no access to your data inside the app — it is completely private
• If you clear your browser data, your Upgrade data will also be cleared (this is why we recommend using the built-in Export Backup feature)

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

• To send you your download link after purchase
• To verify your purchase if you contact us for support
• To send you important product updates (very rarely)

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Razorpay — payment processing. Your payment information is subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• Hostinger — web hosting. Our server is hosted on Hostinger's infrastructure in their data centres.
• Google Fonts — the Upgrade app loads fonts from Google Fonts on first open only.

6. Data retention

We retain your purchase record (payment ID, email, amount) for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. After that period, it is securely deleted.

If you would like your email removed from our records, email us at hello@mockupshelf.com and we will delete it within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information:

• Our website uses HTTPS (SSL encryption) for all data in transit
• Download links are secured with time-limited cryptographic tokens
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay — we never touch your payment credentials
• Server logs are stored in a protected directory inaccessible to the public

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of any marketing emails (simply reply to any email and ask to be removed)

9. Children's privacy

Our product is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised date. For significant changes, we will notify customers by email.
